Pianist Sophie Scolnik-Brower’s innate grace and musical expression have moved audiences across the United States and abroad. Her playing has been called ‘soulful artistry that underlines gorgeous harmonic change without overplaying.” Her roster of festivals include Perlman Music Program, La Jolla Music Festival, Aspen Music Festival, the American Conservatory at Fontainebleau, and Pablo Casals Festival. She is a frequent guest at Mistral Music and on WCRB Radio (Boston). Her graduate studies were completed in the studio of Vivian Weilerstein at the New England Conservatory.

Scolnik-Brower’s notable performances include a performance in Jordan Hall as a winner of NEC’s Honors Chamber Music competition, and as the recipient of the Borromeo String Quartet’s Guest Artist Award. She has also performed extensively as a young artist at the Perlman Music Program and at La Jolla Music Festival's SummerFest, receiving accolades from luminaries such as Cho-Liang Lin and Itzhak Perlman. She continues to collaborate with numerous acclaimed artists from celebrated American symphony orchestras in chamber music performances.

Scolnik-Brower graduated Magna cum laude in 2012 from Harvard University with a B.A. in psychology, followed by a year as an AmeriCorps volunteer for at-risk New York City high school students. Deeply passionate about working with disenfranchised communities, Scolnik-Brower recently completed a Master of Social Work at Boston College.
